    DRG Professional Services is currently seeking an Instructional Systems Designer Project Manager II to work in Jacksonville, Florida.  The IDS Project Manager II is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects and reports to the division Program Manager.

    Responsibilities

    The essential functions of this role are:

    • Oversees all aspects of projects.
    • Oversees daily activities required in accordance with statement of work
    • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
    • Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected with minimum to no supervision.
    • Establish work schedules
    • Prepare price quotes of projects
    • Interface with the government lead and customer on a daily basis
    • Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules; develops solutions to project problems, and directs work of employees assigned to the project
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: 

    • This position will manage a minimum of 4 direct reports and performs exempt level decision making including interviewing, hiring, terminating, performance reviews, and performance corrections.
    • This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Ability to solve practical problems, in a team environment, and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Requires the use of judgment to plan, perform; general decisions are made to solve a problem or select a course of action for a standard or recognized method of operation.
    • This position requires a strong attention to detail and follow through, use of independent judgment, and excellent communication and people management skills

    Job Requirements:

    • BA/BS degree with at least 10 year of task related experience specifically in military standards and specifications.
    • Must have an active Government Security Clearance
    • Familiar with Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) concepts, practices, and procedures.
    • DoD experience is desired, US Navy preferred
    • Travel requirements – up to 50%
