    DRG Professional Services is searching for a Sr. Manager of Marketing to work for a top telecommunications client in Oklahoma City. This is Sr. Manager of Marketing will be responsible for drafting, developing, and executing marketing plans and strategies to support corporate objectives for all market segments. This person will work closely with the sales team and the client is looking for someone with field marketing experience, someone that can relate to a sales organization, and understand what they truly do. Manages and directs a team of vendors to execute digital marketing strategy including web, SEO/PPC, and social media, advertising, collateral materials, direct mail and email strategy, public relations, and events.


    • Ensures attainment of company marketing objectives and competitive position by developing marketing plans and strategies for new and existing services and products. Implements or oversees implementation of strategies in accordance with company objectives.
    • Establishes measurements and controls to continually monitor and optimize the efficacy of marketing efforts.
    • Manages workflow to ensure timely completion of marketing activities.
    • Prepares marketing reports for review by Director of Operations, CEO/GM and/or Board of Directors.
    • Directs and oversee preparation of all collateral and sales support materials.
    • Directs and oversees all digital marketing strategy including content development, website and blogs, search engine optimization and paid search campaigns, and social media.
    • Directs and oversees effective public relations strategy to support corporate objectives.
    • Supports sales strategy for all market segments by directing and executing relevant, effective field marketing efforts.
    • Performs all other related duties as assigned by management.


    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or equivalent experience
    • 5 + years marketing experience

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Expert knowledge of and experience in marketing practices and principles including traditional marketing, digital marketing, search marketing, and public relations, with an emphasis on field marketing.
    • Knowledge of management and public relations principles and practices.
    • Working knowledge of the business technology categories
    • Knowledge of company policies and procedures
    • Skill in networking with industry leaders
    • Skill in identifying and resolving vendor problems.
    • Ability to accurately interpret market trends.
    • Knowledge of regulatory, industry, and technologies developments as they effect company's products and service offerings.
    • Excellent in oral and written communication
    • Excellent working knowledge of publishing software programs
    • Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, media, and various business contracts in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments and work under pressure
    • Ability to pay close attention to detail
    • Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand.
    • Ability to create a team environment and sustain employee morale.
