    Excellent 6 month contract opportuinty with the potential for long term.  DRG Professional Services is seeking an experience Electrical Engineer to support aircraft modification programs. 

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for developing and reviewing installation requirements, technical information, avionics production installation/fabrication drawings, engineering instructions, and related production guidance materials as it pertains to the avionics and electrical aspects of a modification program.

    • Engineer for DoD and FAA aircraft modification programs
    • Review requirements and ensure requirements are implemented in design solutions
    • Develop and review wiring diagrams to support the installation of avionics and electrical provisions
    • Develop and review detail, assembly, and installation drawings
    • Prepare engineering design feasibility studies and reports
    • Prepare engineering documents such as Ground Test Procedures, Electrical Load Analysis, Modification Instructions, etc.
    • Participate in internal and external design reviews
    • Prepare documentation to support FAA and military airworthiness approvals
    • Mentor and guide mechanical engineers
    • Provide technical assistance to Business Development in specific areas

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • B.S. Electrical or Aerospace Engineering Degree.

    Skills & Experience: 

    • Minimum of five (5) years aerospace avionics/system engineering experience
    • Proficient with MS Office, Engineering Design Software.
