    DRG is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support  F-16 Training System at US-Hill AFB/Riverdale UT.

    Responsibilities

    Designs and Programs F-16 Maintenance Training Device hardware and software integration utilizing LabVIEW software/programming environment. Directly supports software engineering and programming development efforts of maintenance training devices within simulation and networked environments.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Accomplishes F-16 Maintenance Training Device hardware/software change or modification utilizing ISO, SEI and IEEE standards in accordance with engineering plans and processes.
    • Performs software engineering activities for development, coding, troubleshooting, documentation and test of software modifications
    • Accomplishes system design using LabVIEW software/programming environment to integrate software and hardware for measurement, testing and control applications.
    • Develops advanced applications within the LabVIEW environment using palettes, menus, tools, virtual instruments, and functions.
    • Interfaces with other engineering task team members to define requirements and approach
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline desired.
    • Formal LabVIEW Software training highly desired

    Experience

    • Advanced LabVIEW Developer/Programmer graphical programming experience is mandatory.
    • Must have technical project background/experience requiring advanced system design and utilization of LabVIEW software/programming environment to integrate software and hardware for measurement, testing and control applications.
    • Experience with C Sharp and C++ family of programming languages is also mandatory.
    • Experience with ADA, FORTRAN, and ATLAS is highly desired.
    • Working knowledge of software operating systems to include Windows, UNIX, and Linux desired .
    • Familiarity with graphics development systems such as OpenGL, and GLStudio desired.
    • Familiarity with ClearCase and/or ClearQuest Configuration Management systems desired.

    Security Clearance

    • Active Secret-level DoD Security clearance highly desired
    • Must minimally be eligible for Secret-level DoD Personnel Security Clearance.
