    DRG is actively seeking multiple qualified applicants to support Air Education and Training Command (AETC) flying training units at various bases; Altus AFB, OK, Vance AFB, OK, Randolph AFB, TX, Laughlin AFB, Texas. 

    Responsibilities

    The Junior Training Analyst shall be responsible for creating, updating, reviewing and maintaining documents and training records and folders, to be approved by the Training Officer. This function shall ensure compliance with the 11-2MDSV1 11-202V1 (Chap 1-9), AETCI 36-2605 Volume1 (all chapters) other applicable AETCI 36-2605 volumes (all chapters), MAJCOM supplements, syllabus, and local guidance for AETC permanent, associate and attached aircrew as well as students where applicable. Training support shall provide assistance with permanent party faculty upgrade, development, currency, and qualification closeout. Training support function shall prepare and monitor local training/testing programs for aircrew as well as waiver requests for staffing.

    • Request and consolidate pilot inputs for the realistic review board annually and forward to the chief training officer for review.
    • Ensure students are loaded into appropriate MS; set up student grade books in MS and prepare student grade books for closeout by squadron Chief Training Officer or designated representative. (All units except 189 OG)
    • Perform regular grade book checks for syllabus compliance IAW guidance issued by the chief of training or Designated Official (DO). (All units except 189 OG)
    • Track duty status and performance report/decoration accomplishment (189 OG)
    • Support MS functions for DOT, DOV, STM and Operations/SARM (DOO) (97 OG units only).
    • Effect inputs to MS in order to maximize system functionality (conflicts, go-no-go rules, resource management, etc.).
    • Build and update locally developed syllabuses in task based training (TBT) periodically IAW local procedures.
    • Ensure MS functionality and accuracy of Letter of X’s, 4324/4348, and NMR list. This includes updating resource manager as needed.
    • Provide assistance with student management, setup, grade book reviews and closeout.
    • Ensure students are loaded into appropriate training management system and provide students with information during in processing.
    • Monitor the status of all students IAW guidance issued by the designated official.
    • Perform grade book checks following flight line syllabus events.
    • Coordinate with scheduling to ensure students are scheduled for ground or ancillary training.
    • Prepare required documents for Progress Review Boards.
    • Monitor progress of student in the Commander’s Awareness Program (CAP) and provide CAP summary reports for the DO and the Commander.
    • Prepare slides or other needed products.
    • Provide daily tracking of student training accomplishment.
    • Provide weekly timeline reporting.
    • Update data in MS and locally developed computer database systems as needed.
    • Perform periodic training folder/MS template reviews.
    • Ensure permanent, associate and attached aircrew are loaded into appropriate MS; set up locally required theater indoctrination/syllabuses/requalification templates/grade books in MS as needed and review training documents to ensure compliance with 11-MDS-V1 and supplemental guidance, AFI 11-290 Crew Resource Management, AFI 11-202V1, supplements, and locally developed syllabus/program. The Junior Training Analyst shall prepare training folders for closeout.
    • Prepare semi-annual proration documents as well as waiver requests.
    • Prepare Non-Mission-Ready memorandum (or equivalent) and corrective action plans as needed.
    • Create, review, and update training records.
    • Consolidate, maintain, and publish a schedule of training events and classes using locally established norms.
    • Coordinate with the Unit Deployment Manager as needed to ensure pre-deployment training requirements are met IAW listed reporting instructions.
    • Perform all Ancillary Training Monitor duties.
    • Prepare slides or other needed products for use in updates to squadron leadership containing the flight and readiness status of personnel.
    • Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment.

     

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a DoD operational flying unit (active duty, guard/reserve, contractor or civilian).
    • Minimum two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to operate the following systems/programs:
      • Computer based training and integrated management system (TIMS,GTIMS, PEX, X-plan)
      • SharePoint websites and communities of practice
    • Microsoft Access is not required but highly desired
