    DRG Professional Services is currently seeking an Enterprise Cloud Architect

    Responsibilities

    The Responsibilities of this role are:

    * Responsible for the Design, implementation and administration of the enterprise cloud environment (Multi-Provider) spanning the multi-disciplined regulated enterprise as a whole.

    * Responsible for the incorporation/blending and combination of multiple Data Center strategy objectives into centralized deliverables meeting all objectives.  Approach will require consultation with multiple project teams and end users to identify optimal environments and hosting options for integrating applications, functions and capabilities.

    * Perform analyses on potential product changes related to architecture to include security, risk analysis, and profit amplification.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to explain technology issues to lay people
    • Strong research, analysis and interpretation skills
    • Ability to lead projects involving complex themes related to technology needs
    • Ability to present materials to stakeholders and train Colleagues
    • Experienced in absorbing information quickly and summarizing in an understandable format
    • Significant experience successfully managing complex projects and working with multiple kinds of technology
    • Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines
    • Must have or be able to quickly develop expertise in new technologies as they gain traction in the market place
    • Proficient with OSX and iOS operating systems
    • • Experience of Public Cloud Platforms – Amazon Web Services is essential (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon AWS are all beneficial)
    • • Experience advising on best practice guidelines for migration of services to the cloud considering the various cloud migration techniques 
    • • Experience with multi-provider cloud native services
    • • Awareness of infrastructure as code approach, to enable fast redeployment of migrated applications 
    • • Experience of Hybrid Cloud Management tools
    • • Experience with Private Cloud platforms (i.e. VMware and Openstack)
    • • Knowledge of complex data pipelines and ETL workflow designs
    • • Strong scripting (Shell, Perl and Python) experience and/or ability to automate routing operations through scripts or tool sets 
    • • Should be highly knowledgeable regarding current and emerging software design and engineering patterns (including automated integration, build, deployment and test), preferably within a regulated environments
    • Experience with cloud security best practice and knowledge of advanced security and control mechanisms for cloud platforms and integrating such across varied deployments.

    Commensurate experience is acceptable in lieu of specific education requirement: Five to seven years experience with IT, technology curation, distributed systems and web analytics. 2 years cloud technology deployment.
