    DRG Professional Services is currently seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join the world's leading aerospace product finishing company located in Carson, CA. This Laboratory Supervisor will oversee all Laboratory Technicians and will lead the department to acheive and maintain qualifications with a proactive approach to meeting departmental and site goals. Ideal candidate will have experience in aerospace / chemical processing.


    This is a full-time position located in Carson, CA. 


    The Responsibilities of this role are:

    • Provide general oversight and support for the lab and technicians
    • Oversee adherence to test methods and laboratory procedures
    • Perform inventory management of all bulk and reagent chemicals.
    • Direct the proper preparation, storage, and use of all controlled materials.
    • Evaluates supplies and materials needed for testing and directs purchasing department on correct ordering.
    • Keep accurate records related to testing activities and prepare summary reports of data in a timely manner
    • Troubleshoot instruments, equipment, and production processes to include tank solution performance
    • Perform routine analytical and physical process control testing including evaluation of external test reports.
    • Leads continuous improvement initatives in the laboratory department including internal auditing 
    • Participates in audits pertaining to NADCAP, AS9100, & Individual Customer Surveillance Audits
    • Identifies or recommends new or upgrading of equpiment and/or methods to improve productivity and capacity
    • Monitors, measures and implements corrective action to improve results within the department
    • Participate in new process implemenation within the company including customer specification reviews
    • Assist in new process engineering and implementation whihc includes customer specification review and compliance planning
    • Interact with outside vendors, laboratories, and customers to communicate requirements and resolve issues
    • Motivates, coaches, and develops empllyees within the department
    • Other duties as assigned by management. 



    •  Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school)- Required. Field of Study: Chemistry
    •  5 plus years of experience in Aerospace/Chemical Processing
