    DRG Professional Services is partnered with Oklahoma’s largest, most comprehensive health system and level 1 trauma center, offering expertise in more medical specialties than any other hospital system in the state.  Seeking a qualified Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join the dedicated pediatric and pediatric cardiovascular critical care team. Candidates must have critical care experience and be a graduate of an Accredited Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program.



    Schedule: Regular. No Weekends

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $33.00 -$50.00 per hour DOE 



    • Under limited direction of a physician, provides medical care to acute care patients.
    • Performs patient evaluations through physical exam, patient history and review of laboratory results, In collaboration with a physician
    • Assesses patients to assist physician in determining a diagnosis and treatment plan
    • Documents information in patient medical record
    • Provides educational information to patient and family regarding the patient’s condition, when appropriate to the patient’s needs
    • When the situation is of a complex medical nature, consults and collaborates with medical staff and specialty services to establish continuity of quality care to patients
    • Assists with the educational activities for the staff
    • May prescribe or administer medications under physician direction and in accordance with Oklahoma State laws




    • Masters of Nursing PICU from an approved school of nursing

    Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required:

    • Valid Oklahoma nursing license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, AND a Certificate of Recognition for Practice as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner from the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, will accept a temporary Certificate of Recognition for Practice provided a permanent certificate is obtained within 12 months of employment, BLS upon hire.

    Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:

    • Knowledge of practices and procedures of nursing. Good patient assessment and communication skills. Knowledge of the principles and methods of clinic operation and management. Knowledge of proper route for administering medications and dosages levels. Knowledge of Oklahoma’s regulatory laws governing prescription drugs.
