    Seeking passionate nurses who thrive in a fast past, acute care environment and loves a strong sense of camaraderie. Primarily serving as a medical - surgical cardiovascular role, this position will also float to the Cardio ICU where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies and a diverse patient population to perform treatment of cardiovascular disorders.  

     

    • Full time Registed Nurse Opening | Day and Night Shifts Available | $23.00 - $34.00 per hour DOE 

    Responsibilities

    The Cardiovascular RN is a Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Cardiovascular Services.  Under limited direction from the Chief Nursing Officer, the Clinical Nurse Specialist is a hospital based, service specific position.

    • Performs as the clinical expert in evidence-based practice within specific patient population.
    • Supports and/or conducts nursing research to further the body of evidence-based nursing practice.
    • Responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating patient specific and population-based programs of care for assigned patient population.
    • Provides leadership in advancing the practice of nursing.
    • Develops and implements innovative alternative solutions that address system problems or patient care issues in collaboration with the services interdisciplinary team.
    • Serves as a change agent through individual and team coaching and participation in committees, task forces and projects system-wide.

    Qualifications

     

    • Experience: Two (2) years experience as a registered nurse, preferably in the area of specialization or education.
    • Licensure: Possession of a valid Oklahoma nursing license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing. Some positions may require specific licensure or certification as an Advance Practice Nurse issued by the Oklahoma Board of Nurse Registration.
