DRG Professional Services is currently seeking an Human Resources Generalist-Recruiter for a local oil and gas supplier.  This individual is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level. The focus of the position is to interview qualified candidates to fill position vacancies and perform other supporting Human Resource functions.





  • Reviews incoming applications, for internal and external placements, forwarding qualified applicant information to hiring managers
  • Conducts telephone and on-site interviews with perspective candidates 
  • Drafts offer letters for internal and external candidates 
  • Ensures pre-employment screenings are conducted 
  • Posts open positions via internal and external sources 
  • Works with third party agencies for external employment candidate sourcing 
  • Represent the organization in off campus recruitment fairs 
  • Assists with Benefits Administration duties and other HRIS functions – as needed 
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team member 
  • Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals 
  • Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill 


Education: : Bachelor’s Degree preferred



  • 5 years HR Generalist experience required 
  • 3 years Recruiting experience required
  • 3 years Employee Benefits experience preferred 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects 
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality of employee records
  • Must have analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills 
  • Must have proficient computer and technological skills 
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral or diagram form 
  • Capable of effectively presenting information to internal and external groups
  • Must have valid driver’s license and clean MVR 
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
