The Contract Specialist III will be responsible for performing assignments that support the various contractual agreements by drafting, reviewing and revising provisions of contracts to produce timely, accurate, detailed government and commercial contracts and subcontracts. The Contract Specialist III will work closely with Senior Manager, Contracts & Subcontracts, to ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARS); and, company policies, procedures and requirements.


  • Review, draft and/or offer for acceptance diverse agreements that include, but will not be limited to: NDA’s; Teaming Agreements; Vendor Agreements; Distributor Agreements; Bailment Agreements; Consulting Agreements; etc.
  • Fill-out and complete various Forms that may include: Certifications and Representations; Powers of Attorney; Form W-9; etc.
  • Occasionally undertake contract research projects that may include the identification of specified terms, conditions or key issues across multiple agreements.
  • Extend and re-negotiate contracts, as appropriate.
  • Accurately interpret the terms and conditions of a contract and verify the credentials of the company with which the contract/subcontract is made.
  • Ensure the contracts terms comply with the company’s policies and legal requirements.
  • Reviews contracts line by line, taking notes regarding questions and concerns with the terms, conditions or language of the contract.
  • Recommend alternative language or terms in review with Senior Contracts Manager that are in the best interest of the company.
  • Will back up Manager, Contracts and Subcontracts and other Contract Specialists in her/his absence to maintain workload completion.


Education & Certifications:

  • Associates degree in Contract Management or related field.
  • Certified Professional Contracts Management (CPCM) preferred
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) preferred
  • Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) preferred



  • Experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and associated Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARS). In addition, experience working with and knowledge of GSA Schedule contracts is a plus.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management.
  • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to company values.

  • Must be deadline oriented.
  • Employee must be a US citizen and not hold dual citizenship with another country.
