Overview

DRG Professional Services is currently seeking a Systems Test Engineer.   The Systems Engineer providing program test development, execution and management of multi-million dollar USG and foreign programs in order to field complex integrated systems and services. Position will encompass a broad product range of developmental and operational testing to include aircraft integration of communication and avionics equipment on military and commercial aircraft, systems installation, and FAA certification.

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Development and management program customer and system requirements.
  • Develop test plans and procedures.
  • Execute and lead hardware, software, and systems engineering activities.
  • Perform data analysis.
  • Document discrepancies in the test execution.
  • Develop and maintain system requirement definitions, traceability and verification
  • Prepare and review necessary documentation to support FAA and military airworthiness approvals
  • Support multiple technical programs for commercial and government customers.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with program and test team personnel.
  • Manage and perform tasks in all phases of system management; including system design and implementation, systems test, deployment and operation.
  • Provide technical support to Division business development.
  • Assist in proposal development, capture, delivery, and test of cost-effective solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

 Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Management preferred.

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience encompassing several successful years of combines system test management for the development of large/small scale avionics and sensors for airborne, ground vehicle and fixed-site platforms.
  • Extensive background in aerodynamics design, testing, and certification.
  • Conducted technical briefings concerning system requirements, design, and certification activities.
  • Proficiency in requirements management programs such as IBM Rational DOORS.
  • DESIRED: A degree in Systems, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Visio, etc.). SEI CMMI Level II, AS9100, and ISO 9001 experience.
