Overview

DRG Professional Services is looking for a Business Development/Sales Consultant to represent an OKC-based IT Servies and Solutions company. The Sales Consultant will help drive business for the Managed IT Service offerings. Working closely with the Director of IT Solutions Sales, the consultant will help define the go-to market strategy for small-medium size companies, help understand product position and key benefits through B2B relationship building and selling. 

 

This is a full-time role located in Oklahoma City. The candidate must have local business connections.

Responsibilities

 

  • Apply an in-depth understanding of IT services and solutions to address complex and strategic IT needs within businesses.
  • Prospect to C-Level executives in small-mid size companies.
  • Discover, develop, and manage business relationships with prospects to help sell company's services.
  • Cross-sell IT services to current clients and prospects.
  • Create/communicate presentations and proposals to C-level staff.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain a quality pipeline of prospects.
  • Responsible for full sales cycle from pro-actively generating to qualifying and closing leads.
  • Have a solid understanding of computer hardware, IT infrastructure, networking technologies, SaaS, IaaS,and DRaas.
  • Excellent rapport building via phone, email, and face-to-face delivery of proposals at the C-level.
  • Provide market trends, data feedback to assist with product development activities. 
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve problems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take a holistic and strategic view of the business process, leveraging a deep understanding of end-to-end buisness models and sales.
  • Prefer 2+ years consultative selling experience of IT Managed Services to small-mid size companies. Related experience, such as technical recruiting, technical staffing sales, or software sales may be considered.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales objectives, developing new customer leads, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
  • Effective communication skills.

Education:

  • Associate's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience requried.
