We are partnered with one of the oldest and most respected allergy clinics in Oklahoma who is looking to add qualified nurses to provide personal and compassionate care to their patients.  Great work life / balance opportunity with free nights, weekends and holidays, this position is a Monday - Friday role with competitive pay and great benefits! 


This role would focus on providing direct patient care and performing subcutaneous and intradermal food and aero-allergen skin testing, document patient history, and perform pulmonary function tests at an established, fast-paced specialty clinic.


Duties include, but are not limited to: Pulmonary function testing, Allergy testing, Clinical Administration functions, Running shot clinics at different locations, Scribing for doctors, Ordering medications, Patch testing, patient charting, and Prior Authorizations for insurance and medications.

  • Record patients weight, height, blood pressure, pulse, respirations, and temperature on appropriate form and inform physician/provider when patient is ready to be seen.
  • Interviewing patients and entering pertinent historical data found on the interview.
  • Making correlations with understanding the clinical needs of the patient and their other illnesses and medications allowing the physician additional time to make further assessments and ask other probing questions.
  • Follow up with patients' questions, concerns, or needs regularly throughout the day.
  • Ensure patients are healthy for allergy skin testing.
  • Provide patient education about allergen immunotherapy.
  • Perform all nurse procedures pulmonary function testing, allergy skin testing, and challenges using correct procedures and protocols.
  • Recognize signs and symptoms of possible patient anaphylactic reactions and report immediately to nurse and/or physician.
  • Become knowledgeable of all physicians routines in clinic


Certified LPN with 2 - 3 years experience
